School System Resources
Wake County boasts two universities, four colleges and a nationally recognized public school system. Public schools in Raleigh and the surrounding towns in Wake County are under the control of Wake County. Regardless of whether you live in Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, Garner, etc… your school system will be Wake County unless you chose to participate in the private or charter school systems.
Finding the right school(s) for your children is an important part of your move. I encourage you to review schools on-line AND in person. If you have questions or feel uncertain, call the school and schedule to meet with the principal during your house hunting visit.
